Hello, I'm an open source software engineer in my late 30s living in #Seoul, #Korea, and an avid advocate of #FLOSS and the #fediverse.
I'm the creator of @fedify, an #ActivityPub server framework in #TypeScript, @hollo, an ActivityPub-enabled microblogging software for single users, and @botkit, a simple ActivityPub bot framework.
I'm also very interested in East Asian languages (so-called #CJK) and #Unicode. Feel free to talk to me in #English, #Korean (#한국어), or #Japanese (#日本語), or even in Literary Chinese (#文言文, #漢文)!
>많은 이주노동자들이 한국어를 못하는 이유는요
바로 한국어를 배울 시간도 없이 뭐빠지게 굴려지기 때문입니다~ 교육 지원해준다 하더라도 허술한점 많고 그걸 들으러갈 시간도 없고 돈도 없고 건강도 없고 그러니까 어디까지 배려해줘야하냐고 하지 맙시다
배려해준적없잖아

Half marathon training
Week 5, run 2/3
Again I listened and repeated the sentences in #Korean audio files. I believe this is the perfect way to control my pace during easy runs. Singing works too, but eventually it may get too difficult or I may not know the lyrics (not to mention the crazy lady stares ).
People now give me intrigued looks and I feel my time is put to excellent use!
Half marathon training
Week 2 - run 2/3
15' mobility
20' walk
Easy run 33'
I listened again to the #Korean audio files and repeated the sentences as well as I could.
I am enjoying this a lot.
영어 ‘Korean’보다 우리말 ’한국인‘의 범위가 훨씬 좁은 아이러니.
If you're curious this is an audio sample
Beginner half marathon training plan
Week 1, session 2
Planned distance and duration: 4,20 km in 31:26
Actual: 4,50 in 31:39
Today I listened to the audio files of the #TomiKorean book I'm studying to learn #Korean.
It's a productive and consistent way to run in zone 2 while repeating Korean sentences.
A well deserved !
