Sain tämän kirjan lainaan kirjastosta pitkällisen jonotuksen jälkeen. En juuri mitään kirjasta etukäteen tiennyt ja hyvä niin. Shokkihoito tekee kai välillä ihan hyvää.

@BlumeEvolution Ich kann nach häufigem Besuchen in Südkorea seit 1977 die extreme politische Spaltung in dem Land leider bestätigen. Einerseits mutiger Aufstand Hunderttausender,die sofort die Demokratie beschützt haben u weiter schützen, andererseits wird der ehemalige Diktator Park Chung-Hee wieder verehrt. Noch immer wird um die Deutungshoheit des Massakers von Gwangju im Mai 1980 durch Chun Doo-Hwan und anderer Massaker in den 50er Jahren gerungen. Dazu ist lesenswert #hankang

Aber das Blut fließt und die Tränen sprudeln. -
Ein Erblindender und eine Verstummte. Not even halfway through yet and this book is blowing my mind. A brilliant translation by Deborah Smith makes it an easy read in the linguistic sense, but emotionally it's challenging.
Such an important topic. I'd known almost nothing about this terrifying era of Korean history. Sad to learn that the US (Carter administration) supported the Korean government's military violence against its own innocent citizens.

Pois con "Actos humanos" (Han Kang, Rata, 2018, tradución de Sunme Yoon) dou por rematado o ano lector. Custoume un pouco entrar, mais despois devoreino. Duro e sensíbel, narra dende distintas perspetivas a masacre da dictadura coreana en 1980 para aplastar a rebelión da cidadanía.
