I'm currently using #Firefox (my browser of choice for a very long time), but tabs recently keep crashing all the time - an it's particularly annoying when (for work) I am doing something on a platform that doesn't save things automatically (notoriously my uni stuff).

So, write me your suggestions for a private, stable, and reliable browser!

Looking for a meshnet type app (like Bridgefy) that is not linked to Google. Am currently trialing Session and Briar but after one that is both Apple and Android. Why we currently do not recommend the @rodentapp Mastodon client:

• it's not #opensource let alone #FLOSS
• it's only available from Google's Play store
• it contains trackers (Google Crashlytics and Google Firebase Analytics)
• it wants access to your ad ID

In short, this app is against the spirit of Mastodon and the Fediverse. There are plenty of Mastodon apps that respect you: @Tusky, Fedilab (@apps), @moshidon …
