Hum... TIL that #TorBrowser is based on #Firefox ESR and seems to be working without using the Tor Network.

Given that, what's the benefit of all the other "Firefox Clone with Security and Privacy in mind"?

I guess the Tor Browser project already takes care of removing the ... naughty features ... from Firefox.

Bisher recht wenig Probleme.

#GoogleChrome is going to keep third-party cookies turned on by default, but it's pretty easy to turn them off (along with other ad features) by putting a "managed policies" file in the right place. Saves having to remember to do it for all users and profiles. (And there's a similar file to control the built-in ad features in #Firefox, too.)

Right...!
The Clickmeeting software is just clearly utterly crap!
Taking us back to the days of "This website is best viewed in Internet Exploder".....
The webinar I was suppose to attend did not work in #firefox, OK I hadn't disabled noscript, it didn't work in #vivaldi #vivaldibrowser , and neither in #opera .
Well, I absolutely refuse to install #chrome and also don't want to use #edge , even though now I was on my W10 Pro netbook.
Clearly anybrowser.org/campaign is needing to be promoted.

TIL & #PSA: In #Firefox you can "search" your bookmark folders from within the "new bookmark" popup (Ctrl+D or the star icon in the URL bar). Expand the folders list, then type letters. It works similar to most file browsers: It's not a search, it finds the next folder matching what you typed. I have 80+ folders and this speeds up chosing the correct one massively since the folder list is so small. Also works for subfolders. Press Alt to close & save.

Somehow my main #Firefox instance lost the auth tokens with the #Mozilla account. It asks for a new login, but when I try, it sends me an email with a code that I must use before a 5m timeout, but for some reason the mail takes more than 5m to reach my inbox. Took me several attempts to get it right.

It then asked me to generate a recovery key, suggested me to store it on my password manager, and then this: It asks for a hint that will be presented to you to help you remember where you put it.
