First time seeing the Aurora lights! Taken at Red Rocks along Wellington's South Coast. Saw about two or three strong bursts when it just lit up enough to be visible with the naked eye

Oh boy. Aaron is flying up to #Pōneke for work this afternoon, and Flip's separation anxiety is spiking.

He's developed some elaborate rituals around goodbyes, involving high-5s or hugs, which keep increasing by factors of 12.

Recently he's added "closing his eyes to not see the person departing", and he keeps doing it earlier and earlier. Aaron doesn't leave for 2.5 hours, and Flip's stumbling around the house with his eyes shut, despite reassurances.

Ah, coping mechanisms. #neurodivergence
