For sure transition is smoother if you are already a #Linux user. Especially if you use the #GNOME desktop.
For me it is very nice that my computers and phone behave so similar. I use #Fedora GNOME on my desktop and laptop.

The project's quality and documentation are outstanding, as well as Ryans handling of community patches.
I use the project to achieve reliable #LDAPS with #ActiveDirectory where #Windows is required (I know: booh!), and I recently contributed support for @inwx with Pull Request 585 (https://github.com/rmbolger/Posh-ACME/pull/585).

Too many websites are Javascript dependent when Plain Ol' Semantic HTML would have worked, and it seems web developers have forgotten about graceful degradation, or even progessive enhancement.
Javascript is something up with which I will not put.
@tomasoqvist I am switching once a while between #posh and gnome-mobile. What does anoy me on gnome-mobile is that I can't force the keyboard to show up as I can with phosh.

Tried #PostmarketOS on a OnePlus 6T (fajita), latest edge version (20240104-1900) with gnome-mobile env, but after those "jumping dots" during the boot process I just get cli login prompt in the top-left corner of the screen.

I just installed #PostmarketOs with #Posh on the #OnePlus6 phone.
First impressions:
I expected GTK3+ apps more responsive and more adapted to mobile screen. Touch gestures are often misinterpreted - swipes recognized as click and so on Its very laggy
@thomaswilburn Web Components At Work has helped me feel comfy rolling my own web components.
But after 20+ years of thinking how to do everything using plain old #semantic #HTML (#POSH — remember that? 
), I have a hard time coming up for good candidates for #WebComponents.
It’s easy to look at existing examples and think, “Oh, cool! That’s a great use for a web component.” Harder to do it on my own.
