I just used Kdenlive to edit together a 15-minute video from about an hour of original footage and a few slide overlays. It worked flawlessly. I'm not doing anything wild and crazy—mostly recordings from OBS w/lots of little jumps to cut out “ums,” “uhs,” dead air, and alternate takes. It went really smoothly!

I don’t have a problem using the best tool for a job even if it’s not designed specifically for GNOME, but should I be trying a more GNOME-y app?

I read a post on reddit of a debian sid user complaining there's no Wayland session on their system after updating to #gnome 48... and I've never booted a VM faster and issued an update to see it for myself... but I'm still waiting cuz I don't really use debian so I had 666 () updates to get.

What does this mean?

After upgrading to #gnome 48, I had to reinstall my extensions, but they all worked once I'd done that. I wasn't left with any that are broken. #gnome48
