It worked! I can see the live feed, it’s recording to the #DreamMachine drive and you can later review and download the recording!
Today on the agenda is to build my new #dreammachine.
It will be special as it also will become a timestamp to mark a turning year in my life to oh so much better.

Our network hub is in the TV stand. This cable was connecting #DreamMachine gateway with an #Orange optic fiber modem that was standing right on the said gateway…
There is also a daisy-chain of power strips with 9 devices on it… 10m roll of way to long optic fiber (shorter replacement waiting) and another 10m of ethernet cable with wall socket, because we’ve moved the tv and I didn’t shorten it…
#unifi #DreamMachine #UDMPro just rebooted without cause and when I reviewed the logs a new Wireguard VPN tunnel had been configured by the device. Anyone else in #infosec seeing #exploitation of these devices? #VoltTyphoon in my router or just a weird update...?
A few more failed attempts with #UnifiCamProxy and ffmpeg-args and I'm dropping it.
I also tried to install #Frigate so I can maybe restream my current camera in a more suitable format, but it won't even start. Open Source... 
I guess there's no point investing more time into the solution that #Ubiquity can purposefully or accidentally axe anytime.
Time to dig up some gadget money and buy a hard drive for #UniFi #DreamMachine and 2 supported cameras...
