Why would #Ubiquity make a 10gbe switch that has a 1gbe uplink? like what's wrong with you people.

Ganz viel Linux (#Debian), #Ansible, aber auch SaaS Services und Office-Infra (#Ubiquity) brauchen eine feste Anlaufstelle.

Did anyone manage to get IPv6 to propagate to the vlans on a Ubiquity Cloud Gateway Ultra on Telenet Belgium? The WAN interface gets an address via dhcpv6 with prefix /57 but the vlan (internal) interfaces don’t get an address. 
Ça y est j’ai enfin terminé ma petite installation réseau.
J’ai viré la box fibre de mon opérateur, remplacé par un ONT externe relié directement à ma nouvelle UniFi Express 7, avec un Wall 7 pour étendre sur la terrasse et le bout de l’appart et un raspberry pi 5 pour faire tourner le serveur pi-hole et Homebridge.
Je sais c’est beaucoup pour un simple appart. Mais je m’en sers aussi pour développer mes compétences et qui sait, peut-être envisager une reconversion pro.
From the start I wanted a Dream Router & almost got the Dream Router 7 to replace my Cloud Gateway Max & a u7 pro. But ultimately decided against it, as i rather have my modular setup & not having the wifi ap integrated. will probaby get the Cloud Gateway Fiber when it comes back on stock. #Ubiquity

Tell you what though, not as wasteful as the boxes #Intel #NUCs came in a few years ago where you slid them open and it played that little Intel chime sound they use.

Woke up without internet in my home, turns out my #Unifi router restarted after an update and did not follow my ISP router's DHCP with a static IP, it used another IP address on its own... Had to manually set the IP address in the console's settings.

OMG Ubiquiti/unifi software is fragile! Did a weird screw up on port aggregation and now the software can't see the switch and its connected devices at all.. I might have to re-adopt things even though all i did was badly try to do port aggregation!

Looking for people who also use Ubiquiti UniFi devices. Looking for recommendations to replace a a mix of Linksys and TP-Link and other network things. Mainly eveything needs to be setup behind my existing internet router from the provider. Thanks
