Problema: a la par que lo eliminas de todas las plataformas, también desaparece de la distribuidora.

Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass daraus etwas wird, aber dass hier unlautere Geschäftspraktiken vorliegen ist vollkommen offensichtlich und diese beiden Firmen sollten auf jeden Fall geprüft werden.

LANDR has approved the release of my album, so it's pushed it up to the streaming platforms. Should be up there in the next few days. Not sure how this will appear with the Distrokid release already up there. If anyone sees it as a duplicate please let me know. I'll be keeping my eyes open too.

Signed up on #LANDR today and began the process of migrating my album from #Distrokid. They have a migration process but it was a bit quirky, and I immediately got an email stating that it appeared much of the audio I had uploaded already existed online. No &^%$ Sherlock, I'm migrating it. Anyways, it's now "Under review" and we'll see how this process goes.

Distrokid does a round of layoffs only targeting union members, asks remaining employees to take on the tasks of the laid off employees and publishes job listings in other countries that aren't covered by the union.
I don't always share YouTube links directly, but when I do, it's became a #union needs #exposure and people need to know.
#DistroKid tries to do a sneaky, but instead show us that they're greedy, and now they need to be put on blast. This kind of exploitation, lies and deceit is disgusting.
@mirlo we use #CDBaby because they charge a one time fee per release, where as #Distrokid used a subscription model (which is popular for doing a 'waterfall release').
We've released an EP and an album this way.
Two weeks ago we finally received our first streaming check, which almost covers the cost of distributing the firt EP. 7 years after the release date.. 
Financially this is not sustainable, for us.

I've been going over my recurring expenses to save some money, because these small fees add up pretty quickly!
For example, I just realized I'm spending $450/yr on domain renewals — and that's after getting rid of all the unused domains I had parked.
One of the expenses I was thinking about cutting was #Distrokid (the distributor for my band "The Fishermen & the Priestess"). But then I realized the price was $23 PER YEAR, not per month, as I initially assumed.
That's a very reasonable price!

It appears that DistroKid is engaging in union-busting. From UMAW:
"On Monday, Oct. 21st, DistroKid placed 37 employees, roughly 25% of its staff, on administrative leave, pending layoffs. This includes the entire full-time customer support staff and most of their quality assurance engineers. The employees who were placed on leave were all members of the DistroKid union, which had won its election in April with strong numbers."
