HarriO)))<p>Recently I asked <a href="https://metalhead.club/tags/GearSquad" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GearSquad</span></a> recommendations for vegan friendly guitar straps and while all tips were awesome, I ended up with RightOn! straps from Spain. They have a lot of options from a wide price range (filter by material type to "vegan leather") but this is what I decided to go with: <a href="https://www.rightonstraps.com/en/arrow-black-guitar-strap-vintage-jacquard-gray-scale" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">rightonstraps.com/en/arrow-bla</span><span class="invisible">ck-guitar-strap-vintage-jacquard-gray-scale</span></a></p>

Ladder Logic 🇨🇦<p>Follow up on my earlier request for help with a keyboard part. Since my new Mac Studio gives me access to all of Logic’s new AI abilities I decided to try out the Session Keyboard player, &amp; it’s pretty impressive. I was able to alter the keyboard to an electric piano that’s pretty close to the sound of a Fender Rhodes, and while the part is quite different I think it works nicely. Can now start building out all the other tracks, including vocals.<br /><a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/GearSquad" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>GearSquad</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/MusicProduction" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>MusicProduction</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/LogicPro" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>LogicPro</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Recording" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Recording</span></a></p>

Ladder Logic 🇨🇦<p>Hoping someone can help me here. I&#39;m in the process of re-recording a song I wrote back in the early 80&#39;s and it has a beautiful Fender Rhodes keyboard part that goes from start to end. Not being a keyboard player I cannot do it justice, so I was wondering if there was a keyboard player out there that would like to take a crack at it. Here&#39;s the intro and first verse (extracted as a stem from the original to give a better feel.<br /><a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/GearSquad" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>GearSquad</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/MusicProduction" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>MusicProduction</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Collaboration" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Collaboration</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/FenderRhodes" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>FenderRhodes</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Keyboards" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Keyboards</span></a></p>

Eric 🇨🇦<p>A good two hour workout in the basement tonight with this little beast. This thing thrives in high gain territory. Running it through a THR5 to test it out. The Gotoh adjustable bridge is great. Intonation is spot on all the way up the neck. The guy I bought it from had it professionally set up. And the Sperzel locking tuners are good. Very sensitive with the gear ratio, but once they’re set, excellent. A bit of getting used to. The CTS tone pot addition is a nice mod too. A bit more tonal flexibility as opposed to just the original single stock volume pot. Can’t believe for a few bucks more than I got for my Squier, I got this unit with a quality hard case. Lord murphy, why can’t Gibson bring these back as an affordable entry model. No bells and whistles, just one pickup. Turns out this 2011 Melody Maker has a baked maple fretboard, solid maple body and mahogany neck. Can’t stop playing this thing and can’t keep a smile off my face. This is what it’s all about. Inspiration and affordable fun. <a href="https://c.im/tags/music" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>music</span></a> <a href="https://c.im/tags/guitar" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>guitar</span></a> <a href="https://c.im/tags/gearsquad" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>gearsquad</span></a></p>
Eric 🇨🇦<p>Sold the Squier Tele today and jumped right in to another guitar. Got a local used 2011 Gibson Melody Maker SG for a good price. Has a few really great mods. Sperzel locking tuners, DiMarzio Bluesbucker pickup (plus the original stock Gibson pickup), Gotoh 510UB adjustable wraparound bridge, a tone pot and knob added where the input jack was (the guitar originally came with just a volume knob), and the input jack is now routed out the bottom side by the strap button. Frets and rosewood board are like new. Came with a nice case too. I’ll give it a workout tonight. <a href="https://c.im/tags/guitar" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>guitar</span></a> <a href="https://c.im/tags/gearsquad" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>gearsquad</span></a> <a href="https://c.im/tags/music" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>music</span></a> <a href="https://c.im/tags/gibson" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>gibson</span></a></p>
Eric 🇨🇦<p>Looks like my 2013 Cabronita Bigsby Squier Tele may be sold. Just bought a used Gretsch 5422 last winter, so I don’t need two Bigsby guitars. Looking at a few used Gibson SG axes as I don’t have any humbucker guitars. Want a guitar that’s not too heavy. I used to have an Epiphone Les Paul Elitist but it weighed a ton. My Danelectro is about 6.5 lbs and my Gretsch hollow body is about the same. I’ve had a whack of Epiphones but never a Gibson, except for a beat up 1961 LG-0 acoustic with a warped neck that I traded for a nice Deering banjo. <a href="https://c.im/tags/guitar" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>guitar</span></a> <a href="https://c.im/tags/gearsquad" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>gearsquad</span></a> <a href="https://c.im/tags/music" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>music</span></a></p>
