#NewPedalDay but belated. Received an #EHX Nano Q-tron over the holidays. Finally got to hooking it up to give it a spin. I like how effects which react to dynamics really make you more deliberate with your attack. What songs does #GearSquad suggest to learn with it?

Will be replacing those Ibanez pedals with something of higher quality. Maybe an Ibanez FL9 or MXR Phase 100. As for AW7 - not sure, maybe MXR Auto Q. We'll see. If you have any other suggestions - feel free to share in the comments

And for now I guess I will put my Holy Stain back and use its amazing reverb in the end of the chain - it is a quality pedal as we can see

Pedalboard adventures continue

First I made short patch cords to connect pedals. I thought it would be an easy job and it was, but, man, it took hours or boring soldering and even more so - desoldering and disassembling old cables in order to salvage jacks. But I did it and it was already much cleaner.
Next I plan to rewire power underneath the board.
Time for more #UnsupervisedBassPlayer
- excessive OBS overlays?

Picked up a faulty #ehx #soulfood pedal to see if I could fix it. Thought could reuse the case if not - it was about the same price.
Didn't go well. One of the pot shafts snapped taking the knob off, suspect it has been dropped.
Circuit predominantly surface mount, very tricky if not impossible for a hobbyist to repair. There's nothing immediately obviously faulty. Even the switch is a bit a challenge to replace.

As I implied, I have a modular pieced together over the past few months to augment two #Doepfer #DarkEnergy semi-modulars.
I had a Ditto x4, but it ceased functioning and is now useless. I got a #Ehx 22500 and am very happy. It has most of the functionality of the Ditto, plus a raftload of other features. Admittedly, it is not as intuitive to use, however.
