One thing that
#Ryzom has made me realize is weird that more games don't have: Automated machine translation for players. Like I don't expect every language to be accounted for, but if your game is big in, say, France, Russia, and the US why not have a translator running between each language? Even if it's just Mandarin, Spanish, and English for the big 3, it would still help massively, and I can't imagine they cost much if Ryzom is running them, and they have 5 different languages for it.
Like. We're already on a computer, and half the time when I run into, say, a Russian player, I have to paste whatever they're saying into a translator, and then I'll likely run my response through a translator back into Russian anyway. Just automate the process a little bit.
