Invitation for the Galaxy Unpacked July 2025 event

We are in for the next Galaxy Unpacked event that will be live on July 2025, which will introduce new foldables and other new devices. Today, Samsung sent out invitations to the Galaxy Unpacked July 2025 event, which has been officially set to be live in the following settings:

  • Date: July 9th, 2025
  • Time: 2 PM @ GMT (10 AM @ ET, 5 PM @ EET, 7:30 PM @ IST)
  • Place: Brooklyn, New York, USA

This Galaxy Unpacked event will introduce new ways to interact with your Galaxy devices, alongside new features for Samsung Health and new devices that will be launched with the event. Those new devices will be supported by new breakthrough hardware that will be installed to them to make your Galaxy AI experience smoother. We will see the new chapter of Ultra!

Invitation pour entrer dans le Fedivers

L’urgence de sortir de l’emprise des GAFAM n’a fait que grandir depuis les dernières élections américaines, alors que les milliardaires à la tête de ces monopoles se sont acoquinés avec le pouvoir. J’ai supprimé définitivement mon compte Facebook, ma boîte courriel Gmail et je fais tout mon possible pour boycotter Amazon et GoogleMap. Mon réseau social principal est désormais Mastodon. Il s’agit d’un réseau social décentralisé. Les comptes peuvent y être hébergés sur des serveurs partout dans le monde. Et l’administrateur de chaque serveur le gère selon les besoins de sa communauté. Cette décentralisation peut avoir quelques inconvénients, mais elle a l’immense avantage d’empêcher la prise de pouvoir par une poignée de milliardaires. Ces serveurs forment des constellations qui rappellent l’idéal de connexion des tous débuts d’Internet.

In order to enable #independent #publishing, four major #Berlin #universities have established the #openaccess publishing house #BerlinUP “Berlin Universities Publishing” as part of the Berlin University Alliance.

They call it #DiamondOpenAccess, but similarities to #AaronSwartz vision for better #education are striking too hard to ignore them. Not limited by commercial #publishing interests, German borders or #citizenship, this is a huge step into the right direction of international #cooperation and #solidarity. The diamond branding and hashtag confusion isn't necessary imho. Hope that English universities will consider to join this #OER revolution, or at least publish on a federated instance. Maybe even #Chinese universities will follow the example of #DeepSeek soon? I think about this as a generous #invitation for the best of #humanity, not just a few giant #corporations.
