We're delving into cosmic madness tonight, in a pretty straightforward CoC campaign. As the party's resident artist, it fell to my character to take the various ideas and phrasing and make a sign for our office.

The view outside an office door in a shabby part of Arkham, with the sign beside it: '3rd Eye P.I.' and in smaller font below that, the subtitle: 'Mysterious Investigations & Curious Consultations'. The 'Eye' in the sign is instead an image of an actual eye. Also there is a potted plant beside the stoop.

Hab mir für die Verwaltung der neuen #Cthulhu Kampagne mal das #Obsidian Template von Bag of Tips besorgt.

Nach diversen Anpassungen gefällt mir das schon gut.
Bin gespannt wie gut mir das in der Praxis helfen wird.

I just got reminded in a discussion about #ttrpg related music that the opening music of Hayore Nyaruko-san openly references Call of Cthulhu game mechanics.

Which might have been obscured in the West by fansubbers not knowing wth SAN is.

(the anime also multiple times shows CoC character sheets and die rolls when dramatic stuff happens)

@kleine_helden Meinem CoC Charakter wurde ein magischer Stockdegen geschenkt, der auch gegen Mythos-Kreaturen Wirkung zeigt, die sich von Schusswaffen eher wenig beeindrucken lassen.

Er kam jetzt nicht so häufig zur Anwendung, aber wenn es passierte, hat es einen Unterschied gemacht.

In our CoC campaign, we have kept just one vial of a sinister substance. My character is a professional tattoo artist who is trying to monetize the sanity risks the group is taking. I've been tracing every image or symbol we find, secretly, before the group destroys the books we found them in. Some of the iconography is sneaking into my tattooing, perhaps unconsciously, but with at least a bit of intention.

Will I add the substance to tattoo ink?
