A friend is offering to sell me his old Huion pen display at a discount (barely used, since he got a newer one as a gift)…it’s really tempting 🤔

It’s not quite the same as paper and pen, but I could really get used to it.

At least it feels more natural and gets better results (for me) than drawing on a tablet while looking at a monitor 😅

These are my first test doodles to get the feel of it. What do you think?

"Wonderland"

Apologies for my dearth of posting recently: I've been sick for the last five days, with lingering acute bronchitis. But I'm on the mend now!

Taking photos in downtown Calgary during winter is challenging, as a photographer is often forced to wait for the low sun to peek through gaps between buildings to light a subject. In this case, I had to wait an hour for the "Wonderland" sculpture in front of the Bow Tower to be lit without sunlight bouncing off the curved glass facade directly behind it.

I start by finding some small thing that I know to be true, some element of beauty or goodness that is so right, so precious, that there is no ugliness or deceit in it.
