Russell Shean’s talk: "Using Batch Scripts for R Project Setup” showed how batch scripts can streamline the installation and configuration of R environments, reducing setup time from hours to minutes. We learned from Russell's experience at the Washington State Department of Health and discovered strategies to ensure reproducibility and efficiency in data workflows. Optimize R project management with practical automation solutions!
Next speaker in the last session of the conference was our committee lead and MC, Dr. Jacqueline Nolis with some very convincing arguments on why we could use #Docker for #R and how. Her talk titled "Docker for R Users: Run your code in the cloud" was packed with practical tips and a live demo that ran!
Lydia Gibson’s session "Learning Together at the Data Science Learning Community" talked about fostering inclusive learning environments to leveraging #TidyTuesday for practical skill-building,@lydz_gibby shared how http://DSLC.io supports diverse learners in mastering data science. Discover the power of collaborative learning from Lydia, one of our conference organizers AND speakers!
