The first North Van Bike Festival is happening this coming Saturday, June 1st.

10am to 2pm at the City Hall Plaza (next to the City Library, Lonsdale Ave at 14th Street).

This event kicks off Go By Bike Week which starts June 3rd.

We enjoyed checking out the extraordinary bikes from this Canadian company yesterday at #SeaOtterClassic and appreciate that James Raia wrote this story for #MontereyHerald.

25 jahre argus bike festival
1999 - 2024

Heute war bei aller schönstem (Klimakrise sei's 'gedankt') Aprilwetter bei über 25°C die Radparade des ARGUS Bike Festivals. Laut offizieller Mitteilung waren rund 10.000 Radfahrys daran beteiligt.
Eine wirklich bunte Mischung aus Fahrrädern und Menschys - es war toll.

Ein paar Eindrücke werde ich hier noch anhängen

Auf dem Rathausplatz dreht sich dieses Wochenende alles ums #Fahrrad. Wie jedes Jahr im April findet wieder das #ARGUS #Bikefestival statt. Das nach eigenen Angaben größte Fahrradfestival Europas gibt etwa einen Überblick über Trends. Auch die Dirt-Jumper zeigen ihr Können.

Kommendes Wochenende findet in #Wien (Radhausplatz) das #BikeFestival statt.
Am Sonntag gibt es um 11:30 die #RADpaRADe um den Ring und durch den Prater (siehe Routenplan), die #Radlobby veranstaltet eine gemeinsame Anfahrt (Sternfahrt) aus diversen Bezirken (siehe Übersicht), zB um 10:20 ab U3 Ottakring über Yppenplatz zum Burgtheater.
