This is the Sprinter train, which runs between Escondido and Oceanside, in northern San Diego County. It's a diesel-powered light rail train that runs on a former Santa Fe branch line. A fun ride.
Sorry about all the railings and stuff in the foreground. Guess I could get a better shot of the train if I was taking a picture of one I wasn't about to get on.

Sprinter train, rolling into the station. Very nice streamlined nose. Wikipedia says this is a Siemens Desiro.
