60ml gin or vodka (used a local gin from Love Beer Craft: Ocì Ibò London Dry Gin)
15ml Cocchi Americano (Luxardo Bitter Bianco)
7,5ml Carpano dry vermouth
1 barspoon onion brine
15ml still water

Pour directly in a chilled coupe and garnish with as much as cocktail onions as you want!

This cocktail is seriously delicious! And the gin is a keeper for me, so much more enjoyable than Monkey 47, yet almost as complex and flavourful. There is a lot of juniper and a green, grassy note that reminds me of a good rhum agricòle.
Grab a bottle if you are in Milan.

Tonight's #aperitivo #aperitif is a vatiation of the #freezermartini (dose for two Martinis):

150ml high proof gin
60ml Cap Corse grande reserve quinquina blanc
60ml still water
4 dashes of olive bitter

Bottle everything and let it freeze overnight along with two coupes.
This cocktail doesn't need any warm up before serving because of the highest proof of gin.
Delicious!
This is the first drink in three weeks!

22,5ml cachaça
2 dashes of orange bitter

Stirr&Strain and garnish with an olive and an almond.

Is this a white cardinale? Or a less savory trash-tini?

Tonight's #aperitivo #aperitif is a great #freezermartini (dose for two Martinis):

150ml Xoriguer gin
60ml Cap Corse grande reserve quinquina blanc
60ml still water
4 dashes of olive bitter

Bottle everything and let it freeze overnight along with two coupes.
Be sure to let the cocktail warm up 15 minutes before serving (otherwise you'll drink a Martini slush!).
Delicious!

Yesterday's #aperitif #aperitivo were #Jenever based (and one #mocktail):

1) Jenever sour:
60ml oude jenever
30ml lemon juice
15ml simple sirup
Foamer (which I don't have 😁)
Shake&Strain in a tumbler full of ice and garnish with a lemon twist.

2) Malty Martini:
60ml oude jenever
15ml #capcorsegranderéservequinquinablanc
1 dash of olive bitter
Stirr&Strain in a chilled coupe and garnish with an olive

3) House Mocktail (my creation)
30ml concentrated ginger juice
The juice of one lime
15ml simple sirup
Shake&Strain in a Mule cup, top with kefir water and garnish with a cube of ginger.

A triplet of winners! Best wishes to you all!

I've coated a chilled coupe with vermouth dry and added the mignon of Edinburgh Gin Speaside.

Garnish with an olive and enjoyed.

This gin is stunning! Very Junipery and super umami! Love it!

Tonight's #aperitivo #aperitif (s) are a couple of #directmartini

The first is a big surprise: made with frozen Xoriguer gini is intense and deeply satisfying;
The other one (petit serve) is made with Killowen frozen overproof gin to conclude the concoctions.

Both of them are poured ina frozen coupe coated with Bordiga dry vermouth and garnish with a lemon twist.

Absolute perfection.
