oe1.orf.atQuartette von Ullmann, Ravel & Schubert vom 2.05.Wohlbekanntes und selten zu hörendes stand bei dem dritten RSO-Kammerkonzert "Aus nächster Nähe" Ende Jänner im Radio-Kulturhaus auf dem Programm. Schubert hat sein letztes Streichquartett im Juni 1826 in nur elf Tagen komponiert; es weist trotz der Tonart G-Dur meist dramatische und verzweifelte Passagen auf, die sich mit liedhaften Abschnitten abwechseln. Ravel betritt in seinem 1902/03 komponierten Quartett rhythmisches Neuland und greift die von Debussy entwickelte Harmonik auf. Abgerundet wird das Programm durch Viktor Ullmanns spätromantisches drittes Streichquartett in einem Satz, das er 1943, ein Jahr vor seiner Ermordung im KZ Theresienstadt, komponierte.

Written and produced by #Motown's main production team, #HollandDozierHolland, the song is one of the most widely-known Motown hits of the 1960s and is today considered the Four Tops' signature song.
