Ok ok, so a very local, neighbourhood economy that is running on small favours (based on unique skills or neighbours) instead of money. Underpinned by goodwill and hope. I fix your tap, you bake me a bread. I fix your bike, you hang my painting on the wall. With inherent imbalance between favours. Is this...stupid?
