The concert night inside my installation at KW with @kmru and Okkyung Lee was wonderful. I am grateful to them for participating. It’s always extremely moving to see how music can be such a powerful communal force when the audience becomes one big organism. That’s what I’m doing it for, really. But the last month has been so full of projects that my body and brain have just been hurting these last few days. 😵

I’m curious if any of you out there have recommendations for things to watch that are both entertaining and not too demanding, yet still good and interesting? 😴📺

It's a great mix of Dark Ambient, Musique concrète, electronica. Good stuff, Maynard!

Looking forward to diving into these artist's catalogs a bit deeper.

A couple of months ago Discipline Mag published an interview with Andrew Nolan, a hip-hop/noise/industrial/dub artist who recently collaborated with Full of Hell and The Body (under the Intensive Care moniker). With this kind of music I find it always interesting to read how the artists themselves describe what they are doing.

Extending a look at some reusable solutions in #musicGames.

This one is extremely rule-light, and usually to find within #experimentalMusic. Examples include #Signs and #Images by #PeterBrotzmann, or #Etudes by #SharonGal.

There is even a relatively famous adopted child of this category: #ObliqueStrategies, a card deck which was not designed or intended for live musical #performance, but many times have been used like that.
