@Bronwyn The terrain is very rugged but the backside of #MuirWoods is more readily accessible from #MillValley than are the #MarinHeadlands or #MtTam.
Do a terrain/sat search of the area on Google Maps to see if that's something you'd want to consider doing instead.

#AlpineLake was one of my favorite hiking spots in Marin. You can just take a leisurely hike around the lake or use it for a take off point to hike up & around the mountain. Haven't been back since I moved to the East Bay & I miss it. Walking round the #LafayetteReservoir sucks in comparison.

Does anyone know the station name or link to the weather station on top of Mount Tamalpais #mttam? I’ve never been able to figure it out, but I’d like to be able to track conditions and historical rainfall up there. I see it reported all the time, so I know it’s there … it just eludes me. #cawx #wx #marin
