@Bronwyn The terrain is very rugged but the backside of #MuirWoods is more readily accessible from #MillValley than are the #MarinHeadlands or #MtTam.
Do a terrain/sat search of the area on Google Maps to see if that's something you'd want to consider doing instead.

1) Took Dad hat shopping in #NorthBeach. He got two.
2) The pretzels this morning from #Hahdough in #HayesValley were so fresh from the oven the proprietor offered me a second bag to put the first one in, “so you don’t burn yourself.”
3) Trip to #MarineMammalCenter. Not their busy season, but so gorgeous today in the #MarinHeadlands.
