The Whittier College Department of Mathematics & Computer Science is looking for a fixed-term Lecturer for the 2024-2025 academic year, to begin in August of 2024. This is a full-time, non-tenure track, one-year appointment, with potential for renewal.

Candidates with expertise in either Mathematics or Computer Science are welcome to apply. A successful candidate will have earned a Ph.D. in Math, Computer Science, or other closely related field (ABDs may be considered). A master’s degree with significant college-level teaching experience or similar will also be considered. Teaching experience is preferred. Teaching responsibilities include 1. Math courses primarily at the calculus level or below and 2. introductory computer science courses (Introduction to Computer Systems).
