#SEGA did very few computers. The #SegaSC3000 was based on their first crappy console, but actually had one of the best #BASIC around. Then I realized the #SegaMarkIII , which has excellent graphics, could still be extended as a computer with the SK1100 extension and the only compatible version of the basic. I was able to create a 2 ways basic source to wave tape format converter, and find the trick to inject #z80 cross assembler binaries through basic. So, basically, i have a computer version of the #SegaSMS but with 60hz display. Also with #katakana keyboard and charset , for which i did a utf8 converter. #retrogeek #retrocomputing

🇯🇵The #JapaneseLanguage is renowned for its unique linguistic and cultural heritage. Its complex grammar and writing system 📚🖋️, combining #kanji, #hiragana, and #katakana, reflect #Japan's rich history and diverse influences. While its origins are debated, theories suggest links to #AustroTai, #Altaic, and other families. This post explores the origins, development, and distinctive features of Japanese and its writing system:

e come ogni cosa alla quale mi appassiono, finisco per farci un tool.

Come dicevo è da una settimana e mezza che ho cominciato a studiare un po' di giapponese così a caso per tenermi il cervello allenato e siccome #anki mi fa schifo per imparare #hiragana e #katakana sto lavorando al mio tool personalizzato rippando roba da Duolingo, si chiama Nise no tori, uccello impostore.

per ora è solo un placeholder.

To no one's surprise, I struggle with these ツシ and these ソン 😭

In context isn't that difficult because one of them makes sense in the word, but when they put this question on a test to choose the right option???

マンション
マソツョソ

I failed that one. Need more practice. Lots of practice 😔

Is it in any way acceptable to use #Hiragana / #Katakana instead of the usual #Greek #Alphabet for the #Math #Equations in a #Paper? I just found out that I find it a lot easier to create short and easy to read telling names for my variables. For example, "Descriptive Norms" can be abbreviated as "DeNo" which can be written as "での". (And yes, I know that I could just write "DeNo" in the first place but that's not the point here. :D )

@umamiaf I always wondered who decides how a word should be katakana-ized. Take the words merry and Cornelius. At least in American English, it's MER-ry and cor-NEE-lius, but in #katakana the accent falls on different syllables: メリー (me-REE) and コーネリアス (COR-nelius).
