Zwischenstopp in Luss, einem (sehr touristischen) Dorf am Loch Lomond. Ich hätte beim Fotografieren außenrum etwas mehr Platz lassen sollen, um die Komposition nachträglich verbessern zu können. Mehrere Versuche, das Bild anders zuzuschneiden, gefielen mir nicht. Jetzt stehen da halt Leute am Bildrand herum. Naja.

Befestigter, relativ hoher Anlegesteg am See. Auf dem Steg stehen Menschen. Am Steg hängt ein großes Schild, auf dem mit klaren schwarzen Buchstaben "LUSS" steht. Das Bild ist in schwarzweiß.

Blick vom Conic Hill bei Balmaha aus über den Loch Lomond, der Glasgow mit Wasser versorgt. Während der ganzen 10 Tage Mitte/Ende August war das Wetter kühl, trüb und nieselig, nur ab und zu kam mal die Sonne durch. Solches Wetter sieht in schwarzweiß vermutlich am besten aus, daher werden in den nächsten Wochen viele Schwarzweiß-Fotos folgen.

#Tossens ist ein kleiner Ort in #Niedersachsen nahe der #Nordsee. Der Ort war noch nie groß, aber hat seit dem 14. Jahrhundert diesen verhältnismäßig riesige Warft. Für eine so kleine Gemeinde ist es ein Kraftakt, so eine große Wurt für die #Kirche zu bauen. Eine #Wurt (#Warft), das ist eine künstliche Erhöhung, die im Falle einer #Sturmflut Sicherheit bietet.

Man kann gut sehen, wie stark das Bedürfnis nach diesem sicheren Ort war. Denn der #Hügel ist eindrucksvoll:
