Good Morning #Canada
Today is National Coffee Break Day, not to be confused with National Coffee Day on September 29th. We're're up early today waiting for a taxi to take us to the airport, but #CoffeeFirst. Canadians rank #11 worldwide for per capita consumption of coffee, approximately 1.57 cups per day, or close to 35,000 cups in a lifetime. No stats on TimBits consumption are available.

Good Morning #Canada
It's #InternationalCoffeeDay and a good opportunity to review our place in the world when considering this morning beverage. We rank 6th in total coffee consumption and 3rd in regular drinkers (71% consume daily, average of 2.7 cups per day). Vancouver, Toronto, and Ottawa rank highly in terms of coffee shops per capita. Not surprising in a country where 9 out of 10 Canadians can see a Timmies from their roof.

Good Morning #Canada
I raise my mug to Canadians on #InternationalCoffeeDay. Despite having a Tim Hortons within 500 metres of every house in Canada, our country only ranks around the top 10 worldwide in consumption, based on how it's calculated. Canadians spend on average $35.21 per month on coffee, and retired Canadians drink 2.6 cups of coffee more than those suckers still in the workforce. I'm retired and on my 2nd cup of the day.
