2. How many of the #greens' expected 0-4 MPs could they get?

For a while they've had 1 MP, the exceedingly popular #CarolineLucas in #BrightonPavilion. But when she stepped down, could anyone else win it?

They have also been targeting #BristolCentral for a while, and then had some muted hopes about #NorthHerefordshire and #WaveneyValley.

The #ExitPoll had them winning 2 seats, which sounded like solid going given the circumstances.

But now the count has come in, they've won all four!

#Brighton set to make history again by re-electing #Green MP? Yes I think it probably is. #labour are the main rivals but have run an odd campaign in #BrightonPavilion, fielding a largely absent and aloof candidate backed up by a scaremongering campaign insisting that the Cons can win this seat (zero chance, zero evidence) with lots of equally misleading mailings from central office.

The #Green pitch is clear - another Starmer clone backbencher will make zero impact on the things that matter. Labour will not hold itself to account on #ClimateChange and the environment and Green MPs are the only ones able to do this.

Makes sense to me. #VoteGreen

Very excited about general election campaign in #BrightonPavilion
@sianberry is an amazing politician with just the kind of gutsy, no-nonsense approach that has made @CarolineLucas a national treasure

Caroline Lucas: Wow!! An amazing turnout in #Brighton today to launch the campaign to elect the brilliant @sianberry as the new @TheGreenParty MP for Brighton Pavilion. Never more important to keep strong Green voice in parliament
