Completed a baby blanket for a family friend.

My usual blanket pattern is a monogrammed blanket out of Erika Knight's "Simple Knits for Cherished Babies" and my usual yarn is Knit Picks Shine Worsted. This yarn is in a pale pink color called "Blush".

I finished the last 18 rows and bind-off just in time for my visiting family to take it back to the friend. I hope they love it. It took most of the 10 skeins of yarn I bought for it.

Continuing a baby blanket for a family friend.

My usual blanket pattern is a monogrammed blanket out of Erika Knight's "Simple Knits for Cherished Babies" and my usual yarn is Knit Picks Shine Worsted in a pink color called "Blush".

I have completed 220 rows and the purled 'G' monogram... Next will be another ~11 rows of stockinette, 7 rows of garter, and then bind off, and send off. Speedy Fingers Go Go Go!

Eine runde Decke für einen zukünftigen Erdenbewohner ist in Arbeit! Das Garn schluckt zwar leider einen Teil vom Muster, aber ich fand die Farben so schön und es ist wunderbar weich 😍
Ich habe es im Angebot bei der Wollstube Kreutter, einem tollen Wollladen in meiner Nähe bekommen. Es ist #Banyan von Colinette Yarns, einem britischen Handfärber-Label. Durch die Zusammensetzung aus gleichen Teilen Rayon und Baumwolle ist es vegan und für Allergiker gut geeignet - und eben super weich.

A round blanket for a future earthling is on the needles!
The yarn is beautiful but sadly, it overshadows some parts of the pretty pattern. Anyway, it's super soft and I like the hues of blue and terracotta 😍
I bought the yarn on sale in a local yarn shop. It's called #Banyan by the British label for hand-dyed yarns called Colinette Yarns. It's made from rayon and cotton, so it's vegan and perfect for people with allergies.
The pattern is #CablesGoRoundBlanket by Mary Maxim.

When I first started to crochet, I was very soon asked if I could make baby stuff. I was very reluctant, because that's really not my jam but I found that baby blankets with an interesting pattern are ok. Within 5 years I made 14 Babyblankets. Phew.
Out of the 14, 8 were some shade of pink or rose. At one point I was begging my friends to please not ask for pink and let me make a blanket in a different color. :D Bonus Picture in the Collage of a Dinosaur Baby Hat.
