Question to my fellow Android developers using Jetpack Compose: What's your take on baseline profiles?
I find them useless. Too much hassle with little to no gain. And the gain is only for the first couple of launches by which the Jit compiler has done the work for you.

How hard would it be NOT to bury the RESTART option deep in menus, but instead be real and place it as an easily accessed top home screen option which doesn't evade baffled pensioners whose devices are playing up, or take a ridiculous number of clicks to get to?

For anyone who would like to try out the new, fresh animation the attached apk is a simple demo I created to test them before including them in LiveChat.
They took hours to make, since I had to manually edit SVG paths and fine tune timing and easing for each piece (there are 9 paths with several curves and lines in each icon)

I think I may be done in terms of animations for the login screen, I will work more on how the application animates on load but that should be way less SVG and more layour animation (which is equally painful but at least it's not SVG)
