It's honestly frustrating to see that Librewolf isn't even packaged in the official repos of any Linux distros. It's been around for so long and has a good reputation, yet even the most questionable proprietary spin-offs make it into repos, but not Librewolf. This is just disappointing, to say the least :/
@triskelion At least it's available as a Flatpak on Flathub, making it a one click install on several distros out of the box (including Mint and Fedora).
For a browser, I think I would prefer "native" distro packaging, but at least the option is there.
@mekuso I agree with you. I like Flatpak but for browser, I prefer native packaging
@triskelion @mekuso hmmh, for Arch it's at least in AUR, iirc
OT not being Linux: it's in the packages for #FreeBSD.
@triskelion It's in the Alpine Linux repos :3
@triskelion Fwiw, it's easy to do this once-off process. Download the tarball from the site, extract it, move it to /opt/
, give it your user ownership so it can auto-update, then simply get on with your day.
