Sometimes it's the little joys in the #selfhosted journey. Like when you find that your town has released an API endpoint to get your garbage and recycling pick up schedule that I can now integrate into #HomeAssistant . What a win!
#FBPE @notnorm I use the HACS Waste Collection Schedule, which knows about hundreds of towns' APIs including my own.
@TimWardCam Yes, I'm using that too thanks to all their options! My town wasn't on there before this recent change.
@notnorm I started by thinking I'd do my own integration, having discovered my town's API, then I thought "hang on a minute, someone must have already done this!".
