@metin @mbt3d yeah I need to sort that out. My webhosting provided got bought out last summer by 123-reg and nominally I was getting the "same product", but I discovered last night they have removed the lets-encrypt CPanel plugin for doing easy SSL certs. Sigh.

@smilingdemon @mbt3d I hear you. My provider needs to extend my SSL certificate, and I've been getting tens of automated e-mails about the SSL that's about to expire for weeks now. 😖

It's all Google's fault. They pushed the HTTPS hysteria.

@metin @smilingdemon Yea it is over the top, for read-only sites totally unnecessary, only needed if your logging in or sharing some form of data over the wires.
