The least hacky brazilian setup.
DIY desk made from crooked planks, mostly used for repairs, but I'm laying back from that for a little.
Wifi card constantly crashing, so I use a adapter.
OG keyboard failed, replacement failed in a week, so I made my own keyboard
My chair was 6 years older than me, and was decomposing, so I make do with a plastic chair.
Also, charger broke, so I'm using a power supply lol.

@Zezin@fosstodon.orgI would appreciate suggestions of how I could make this room look less like a prison cell lol. I even have bars on the windows.
Forgot to add that I use the keyboard on my lap most of the time. I would've liked a keyboard tray, but I would probably have to make one myself, and in the end it wouldn't be that flexible.
I've been thinking of getting rid of my bed and just using a DIY "zero-gravity" setup, with those pool chairs and a HMD.
@Zezin I had a couple ideas. Not sure if they fit you
1. If you have a friend that can paint (i.e. pictures not walls), have him paint a picture of a window that has you looking out on some place that you dream about being.
2. I like the idea of creating rid of the bed. I read that it the thought that came to me was a hammock. But I am not sure if you are a hammock person or not.
The picture I had in my head was a view looking at a beach and have you lying in the hammock.

1. I don't have any friends (no, really), but that's a good idea. I could just buy something to frame, or try to paint it myself.
2. I'm fine with hammocks, but I thought of just sleeping on the ground, with a wool tarp, or a sleeping bag. The ground is cold, which is good for the 40C summer lol. I also like sleeping on the ground.
