I slowly started reverting my #NetBird only mesh networking within my network with the #homelab . It just started being annoying that I needed to get on the network on my phone to get to stuff. Couldn't leave it on cause it would drain the battery since the client isn't that good yet. So I went back to split dns where if you are on the netbird network you get to services on that it, if you are not you can still get to services via caddy ( which does use the netbird internally).

@train I have a subnet router running as LXC on proxmox that allows me access to all my internal LAN services. Not sure if this is what you were looking for?

@LordChaos82 No not exactly. I was just pointing out that running netbird as an overlay network in the #homelab made it sort of impossible for hand held devices to get on the network. The Netbird client on android ( at least mine) drains the battery to much. So I ended up just with a split dns. With all my servers still using netbird internally to communicate with each other and I communicate with them via a reverse-proxy that has legs in both networks.
