The recent evaluations made by the Qt company for restricting their license for the distribution of their future frameworks to paying customers, for a year, as a solution to boost revenue, seems to be a topic of great concern within the open source community.

Even moreso, the aftermath, if they were going to take such a path, would be interesting to say the least. Considerations being made, if a deal hasn't been struck, would be fork over the project.
