Has anyone recently managed to create a sym-link on for the iOS backup directory to an external hard drive? I faild today. As a matter of fact, it wouldn’t even let me ls in the „mobile sync“ directory despite being su. Do I need to do any permissions in pre-boot? Any advice is appreciated

Okay, the problem wasn't the symbolic link, it was that the terminal didn't have the permission for full disc access.
Problem solved
