I keep running into brick walls trying to find a simple roadmap/kanban tool that:
1) Is Open Source
2) Isn't GitHub
3) Supports public sharing or embedding
4) Bonus: can be self-hosted
Context: I'm creating a roadmap for @Linux4Everyone and I want it to be publicly viewable.
I was hoping @nextcloud Deck would fit the need, but sadly it doesn't have a public sharing option, otherwise it would be perfect.
Any ideas out there?
@killyourfm
Interesting and important topic! Thanks to everyone for your contributions.
With @nextcloud Deck, it is indeed not possible to share a link with external guests. In my humble opinion, @vikunja is ideal for what you are looking for, as it allows you to share all project views (List, Gantt, Table, and Kanban) externally via a link.
@killyourfm
I would also like to mention @openproject. It may be overkill here, but its features are incredible. However, if I understand correctly, there is no easy way to share project data to external guests in the Community Edition.
@josp0001 @openproject That did cross my radar, and it's impressive! It's aspirational, but I'd love to get to a point where L4E *needs* all that functionality!
@josp0001 @vikunja Thanks for the feedback! I'm going to install it on the server this weekend. After that, I'll share a link with you and maybe we can collaborate on that @imakefoss roadmap :D
@killyourfm Yes, definitely!
