Ok, tail end of my trip so we get to photo dump now.
Started off in Saitama at Belluna Dome for the 2 Aqours final concerts 「永久stage」. Nothing really special about the dome itself, but there were some interesting things off to the side.

In a week, doing both AnimeNYC and PopCult, in spite of those being in two different cities 
Hooray for Greyhound. (If Amtrak ran at more times, in particular more late night/early morning routes, or if there was a high speed rail option, I'd do that... But nope, a bus it is 
.)
Hoping to meet CatChu on Saturday of ANYC. (Really, just going to CatChu events is my main priority there. It's do all the CatChu things, and bounce when there's no more Cats to Chu.)
And performing in the Idol Showcase on Sunday of PopCult with Sora Idols as Guilty Kiss

Happy birthday to Yohane! My favorite character ever, and one of my greatest comforts. Her character theme of finding and embracing one's true self became a core theme of Aqours (find our own shine), and is one I hold near and dear. And it was by cosplaying her that I've grown as a person, made so many friends, and had so many wonderful experiences. She really is my greatest inspiration and my idol! 
My big Yohane day celebrations: Making chocolate strawberries (her two favorite foods!) for my Yohane plushies, gathered under my Yohane wall with my wings. 
And gathering up (some of...) my merch for a shrine celebration

I really love Aqours.
When they first arrived, I didn't appreciate them or Sunshine at all, thinking they were just µ's replacements. It was hearing in this unstable world and Aikyan's voice, and recognizing Yohane's role in the story and the big theme of finding your own shine that made me realize how incredible they were in their own way.
And they've come to be my favorite Love Live group, my favorite idol group, and honestly the single thing I have obsessed over the most intensely in my life . Their music has become a source of strength for me. Kin-chan and Aikyan will forever be my biggest inspirations, and Yohane my best girl.
It's not goodbye, they'll be around and they'll be back (µ's kept good on this promise too, even if we don't see them at big events anymore they've literally been doing stuff in Taiwan for the past couple days). Aqours eternal indeed. 
(Apparently the project title is supposed to be pronounced "A Q", for maximum wordplay.)
