One of the most iconic buildings in Waterford, NY is the 1893 Ormsby Textile Company mill. Underwear, lace trim, and eventually automobile fabrics.Then, it became home of Ursula of Switzerland, famous "mother of the bride" fashions.

Opening day tomorrow of the official #SaratogaRaceCourse meet. I'm heading up there in a few weeks. #horseracing heaven. Going through my parents' belongings and have come across some interesting items... Here's a postcard from the 1970s, I'm guessing, of the Gold Seal Vineyards winery along the shores of Keuka Lake in Upstate NY.

Went on this absolutely SICK train ride a few weeks ago, the path goes through some swamplands. Turns out this photographer knew it was coming and was taking pictures of us! hah!
