@paulhellyer I wonder if harbours count for that new hashtag They are part of the sea really, so here goes!
There was definitely some green later on, but it was behind the clouds. #SeasOfMastodon
Castlepoint is a good two and a half-hour drive from the capital on the east coast of the North Island. It's a lovely, picturesque spot with an iconic lighthouse, and always interesting seas, like on this day back in April 2016. Oh, and there's a dog in this photo too, looking like they are living their best life.
Not a sea, but I was looking at some photos to process, so that I can clear space for other photos. Didn't quite get the aurora australis on that night, really, but the sky over the Cook Strait was super purple. #SeasOfMastodon
This is entrance way to Otago harbour, taken from a plane as I leaving Ōtepoti/Dunedin in September 2020. If you travel due east from there (Taiaroa Heads) it's nearly 8 thousands kilometres of ocean, before you reach any land. So much sea!
Tauranga Moana, almost monochrome in full colour. Big, slow swells heaving in the gales.
