What a great day! Hiked into the mountains with my new ham friends: Jorge, EA1FWI, Miguel, EB1Y, & Alex, EA1AXX. Jorge completed his 1st #POTA activation! 
He had a pileup on 40 SSB and even tried some CW. Afterwards, we celebrated with a caña at the village bar. #parksontheair

VA7XF CN89 I had three days worth of #AmateurRadio #ParksOnTheAir activations, and was pleasantly surprised to find that our campsite is literally on the Trans Canada Trail, to make it a two-fer activation!
If we had been in the next section of the campsite, we wouldn't have been on the trail!

The summit of #SOTA OK/LI-004 Jizera (#WWFF OKFF-0851, #POTA CZ-0010) does not offer very much space for an antenna and is usually pretty crowded on weekends. You are also not allowed to leave the trails to make use of the activation zone - the nature reserve needs to be protected. So I put up the #elecraftax2 as a fallback option and quit after 10 QSOs on #20m in #morsecode. #HamRadio #SummitsOnTheAir #ParksOnTheAir #Amateurfunk #qrp #elecraftkx2 #hiking #mountains #czechia #czechrepublic

Had problems with ocnl S9 QRN (internal?) during my activation of Biosfera Babia / Babia y Luna Park, ES-2051 & ES-0112 yesterday. I’m afraid the heat (35C, 95F) may have damaged my G90. Today will be QRP CW with my CFT1 at Somiedo Park & Biosphere Reserve. #POTA #parksontheair
