First sanctioned #DiscGolf tourney of the year yesterday. First round when good but not great. 10 points over my current rating felt good. Last place in the cash felt better. But the second round was a disaster. Bogied my first five holes. Worst round rating in a long time.

When life gives you good weather, you leave work early and play a round of #DiscGolf

The good news is that the tournament I played in today wasn't sanctioned. I don't think I've ever played so poorly in a tournament. I just could not get into it.

I haven't looked at the data, but it seems like the interest in disc golf that went nuts during covid has waned. It used to be hard to find tournaments that aren't full, now I'm seeing tournaments not even full capacity.

I suppose a lot of players never got that 400 foot tee shot and gave up.
