Yes, it won't work very well at very high latitudes. Yes, you will be constantly having to specify which time zone you scheduled something in. Yes, most days won't actually be 24 hours long anymore. REMEMBER: Overnight between Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th this weekend,
clocks go FORWARD on hour 
This means that on Sunday 30th the sun won't set until 19:44! 
And we won't see sunsets earlier than this until 8th September!

Why is it that the dipshit politicians who have the right idea about abolishing the time change don't understand that the permanent adjustment should be to standard time. They already tried permanent DST and it failed. Permanent Standard time wouldn't have those issues.
The US moving to #DaylightSavings is great for finishing work at a reasonable time; but terrible for all your carefully planned meeting timings. #DaylightConfusionTime
