#BBCWales are celebrating 100 Years this week with some #cake! I've had the honour of working for the #BBC for the majority of my life & couldn't ask for a better job. Worked on #BerlinWall, #Princess Diana's death, #Terror attacks 9/11, #6nations, #worldcup, documentaries & the fall of Czechoslovakia to the #Nazis & the #Kinder Transport.

Here's to a 100 more - not for me because if I was still here I'd be stuffed and on display!!

When the #Daleks invaded the #BBC ! With everyone celebrating #doctorwhoday today I couldn't let this picture the invading #dalek kindly allowed me to take in #bbcwales reception a few years ago!

The Dalek only allowed me to take one shot in fear of #extermination so I was quick! With #christmas just around the corner I couldn't help but choose this #photograph rather than one of the #tardis (I'll save those for another !).

A few years ago The Fifth Doctor (Peter Davidson) came into #BBCWales to record for #radio #drama and I had the pleasure of sitting down with him talking about his acting career, what he was doing, what he had planned & his children inc Georgia who married David Tennant! Talk about keeping it in the family!!

Now that #BBCWales HQ's have fully moved from #Llandaf to Central Square in #Cardiff one of the things I used to love doing was walking up to the #village at lunchtime and spending time at Llandaf #Cathedral it's an incredible place to just think and people watch! (most recently King Charles!)

Just happened to be walking back to work when Isaw this shot through the wall and had to take the shot!

Spent many years working in #Llandaff and this is one of the last #drone shots of the #BBCWales HQ before demolition began. Holds so many memories! It's very different now!!
