All the nails got a base coat, I started painting the gold details.
I think I'm going to keep doing batch painting until all parts have the right color. And then I will do each model individually for the highlights, fixing mistakes, etc.

11/20 blue horrors now have at least one coat of paint on their nails.
It's so time consuming, and will need at least 2 coats.
Ice yellow doesn't have a great coverage, or I didn't mix my pot well enough.
I'm not close to finishing those guys :'(
Completed the teeth on my blue horrors.
I started the nails, but my patience for the day quickly ran out.
While I found painting teeth mostly satisfying, I find painting nails very annoying.
I brought half my blue horrors to the dentist.
Brush your teeth every day if you don't want to look like them.
I attempted to highlight the tongues of my 19 blue horrors. I had more or less success depending on the models.
After drying it should tone down a bit.
I might do a second pass at the time that I paint the teeth.
Had a game of AoS with Joshua and his Bonereapers tonight, I lost but only by 4 points, failures to complete Battle Tactics early on cost me a lot
I was planning to do a quick session today. I spent more than 1h30 painting 19 mouths and tongues. Realizing I forgot the teeth and gums after 15 miniatures didn't help.
I should probably work in batches of 5 to keep things a bit interesting.
I think I'm done with my test model for the blue horrors. I'll figure out the base later.
I now have a color scheme, I need to improve the execution over the next few models.
I went with pale sand over some of the ice yellow parts like the teeth and nails.
Today I spent some time packing the spray booth and setting up the desk for brush licking work.
I'm now trying to figure out the color scheme for my blue horrors.
Pale blue worked ok for highlighting the darker sides. But I don't think ice yellow is working well.
I'm not sure if I should try a pale green, or stay in the blues.
Vermisnlayer is good.is entertaining and is fun. But isn't a good Gotrek novel. Too much focus on her companion imho. No, not like when he had feliz as companion.
i simply mean too much focus on her.
Here's the converted Heroquest goblin, finally painted
Another small terrain update. I decided that I wanted the trees to look a little more lively and feed more into looking like they belong in a forest. They still retain the "these trees kill" spirit with the bones all around, but now have the benefit of actually looking like trees; much less suspicious.
Three different shades of moss really sells the effect, I think.
I have three auctions for vintage Citadel miniatures closing this weekend.

Look, if no one else is going to provide AoS terrain, I certainly will. There's something about playing on a table with fully painted terrain, and I for one am sick of using the 40k terrain the store provides!
Forgot to take enough photos today, but had a game of Age of Sigmar with Adam and his Seraphon and it was another defeat, but much fun was had when rolling my dice!
