The fellow choirs are nothing but amazing.

My bf and I used to be on Discord, but we've eventually moved to Signal for our private stuff.

One thing I miss from Discord is easy access to Tenor's GIF.

I've researched how to make stickers out of animated GIFs, but I've given up.

I have another solution.

I save the GIFs to a directory on my Nextcloud instance, and I can attach them to Signal messages both on my laptop and my phone.

World Premieres of my “Psalm 47”!

I am thrilled to announce two soon-coming concerts in which tenor Mitchell Sturges will premiere the setting of Psalm 47 I wrote for him!

From Mitchell:

I will be performing a recital that follows the form of the Evensong service… I’ll be giving the world premieres of a setting of Psalm 47 by Sarah Wallin-Huff & Stephen Jackson’s “And you, whose eyes shall behold God” – settings of poems by John Donne. If you’re at the Utah performance, you’ll get to hear the Western-US premiere of a piece I commissioned from Melissa Dunphy in 2022, “Hymns of Hildegard”.

The first concert will be at St Mary’s Church in Park City, UT on Thursday, March 13 at 6:30pm MDT. Check out the Facebook Event here for more info.

The second will not only be in-person at Ascension and Holy Trinity Episcopal Church near Cincinnati, but it will also be Live Streamed on Facebook for those of us who can’t make it out there ourselves! That concert will be on Saturday, March 29 at 6pm EDT. The Facebook page with more info (and where the live-stream will be) is here.
