I'm an #iOS and #macOS #software #developer, experienced in #UIKit, #AppKit, #ObjectiveC, #Swift and #SwiftUI, have worked with the #Parse framework as well as #Realm / #MongoDB and the whole toolchain around it. I have been working in software development for about 30 years and am looking for a remote position (permanent role, preferably in an AT/DE startup).

Fellow #Swift & #SwiftUI developers: Do any of you know if there is an alternative to #MongoDB / #Realm with SwiftSDK (for both #macOS and #iOS)? My main concern is that it can be used both online and offline and - very important! - that it supports (automatic) device sync.

If you are developing #macOS and/or #iOS software and you are using the #Realm DB: Get rid of it and RUN!

Yesterday our company received an email from #MongoDB. Within a few sentences they ruined our entire business! 3 years of development -> Garbage!

Atlas Device Sync and Atlas Device SDKs (Realm itself) will be deprecated in the next months.

It's catching us pretty cold right now! F*CK!!!
